Wool Scouring Resources
There are almost endless ways for you to scour wool and a similarly endless combination of tools and supplies. This list is designed specifically for my method, though you will likely find other items along your journey that are useful.
These are all supplies that I use or suggest. However, there are many similar options and I encourage you to use what you already have before purchasing something new. (This list contains affiliate links)
Large bucket, pot, or other container for holding water (multiple)
Long handled spoon for saturating fleeces
Thermometer (Infrared are best because it doesn’t have to touch the water)
Wrought iron table (Marketplace or yard sale find) or colander for straining fleeces
Mesh drying racks (Great DIY project) hanging or stand alone
Scouring agent (Unicorn Power Scour or Kookaburra wool wash)
If you want to use a hose connected to your indoor hot water supply:
Expandable garden hose
Sink to hose converter: Check compatibility but 3/4" fits most kitchen sinks
